ABBA KYARI'S BODY LAID TO REST AT GUDU CEMETERY, ABUJA

The remains of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, arrived in Abuja Saturday morning from Lagos, and have been buried at Gudu cemetery after funeral prayers at his residence.

BREAKING: Abba Kyari is Dead


Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, announced Mr Kyari’s death on Twitter.

Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:

13 in Lagos
2 in Edo
2 in Kano
2 in Ogun
1 in Ondo

As at 09:50 pm 13th April there are 343 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 91 have been discharged with 10 deaths

Real Cause of Tanker explosion in Lagos Revealed



At least 54 vehicles burnt and scores of people burnt beyond recognistion, the incident happened around 5 pm on the Otedola Bridge of the expressway with many motorists trapped, as the tanker which was leaving Lagos lost control and subsequently crashed and spilled its 33,000-litre content.

Army Arrest 2 Fulani Herdsmen in connection with killings in Plateau






The Operation Save Haven Military Task force claims it has paraded three suspects involved in the latest massacre by suspected herdsmen in Plateau State.

Paraded on Wednesday, the Operation said the suspects were arrested at Gashish District in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state.

Some Chiboks girls refused to be freed



Zannah Mustapha, a lawyer and negotiator, who was part of the team that facilitated the release of 82 of the Chibok schoolgirls abducted three years ago by Boko Haram, on Monday, told Thomson Reuters Foundation that some of the girls refused to be freed.
Mustapha,57, said some of the abducted girls refused to go home, fuelling fears that they have been radicalized by the jihadists, and may feel afraid, ashamed or even too powerful to return to their old lives.
